Philip Scalo

Philip Scalo is a Founder and Chairman of Bartley Healthcare, a senior care company located in Jackson, New Jersey. Bartley Healthcare offers a variety of senior care services including assisted living, rehabilitation, long term care, memory care, hospice services, home care services, and outpatient services. Mr. Scalo has led Bartley from its inception in 1984 to become one of the most highly awarded senior care companies in New Jersey (Awards include AHCA Silver Quality Awards for each facility, NJDOH Best Practice Awards, ALFA Best of the Best Awards, US News and World Report: Americas Best Nursing Homes, 5-star ratings and various business of the year and performance awards and recognition.) Mr. Scalo has served as a consultant for long-term care and assisted living operations, financing and project development.

Mr. Scalo’s background is in law, and he has been an attorney and partner in law firms specializing in healthcare law, civil and commercial litigation, financing, construction law, and municipal law for more than 20 years. Mr. Scalo served as the Director and Executive Vice President, Secretary and Chief Legal officer of the US Division of Blenheim Group PLC. (1990-1994) In this capacity, Mr. Scalo was responsible for all legal matters and operations of an international trade show and business and professional education company, including mergers and acquisitions, governmental relations and strategic partnerships.
